so anyway, i wore cloth ballerina slippers (cheetah print) and I had to run errands at lunch time and to my surprise, it was still pouring at lunch. So I had to go out anyway and my shoes got soaked through. by the time i got back to the office they were squishing water! so i had to go in the bathroom and try to soak up as much as i could with papertowels and then i kept my shoes off at my desk for most of the afternoon and they were freezing! i'll never do that again... I needed some socks and a space heater!!

Happy to show her, I undid my green European scarf. I explained that because my scarf was particularly long, it was easier to tie loosely--so it could billow and fill in around the collar of my coat. To tie it I simply placed the scarf around my neck with one side hanging down a little longer than the other. I took the longer side and wrapped it around my neck once and then tied it through to make a loop with the other end in the front.

Loose scarves have been in style for years in Europe and are now certainly in style in America. Be creative with how you tie them and what you pair them with. Have fun!
