Hi Every Body,
How are you all? Complementing your wedding diet with some light exercise is one of the best decisions you could possibly make if you want to improve your chances of losing the weight you want to for your wedding day.
Even if you are the kind of person who usually avoids exercise, or if you haven't done it for years, it is well worth considering now. Even if the though of exercise is enough to send shivers down your spine, relax. You don't have to start fanatically training for your local marathon to see big results.
There are basically two ways to lose weight (assuming that we exclude surgery): reduce the amount of calories you eat, or increase the number of calories you use up. By opting for just the diet route alone, you are significantly reducing the weight loss potential you have available to you. Why? Because the one thing that works even better than a calorie-controlled diet for losing weight, is that same diet combined with exercise.
An average adult consuming more than about 2500 calories a day is likely to gain weight, so you will need to aim below this figure to lose anything. On the other hand, an hour's leisurely swim can burn up 350-500+ calories, depending on your weight. That's the equivalent of a ready-made low-fat meal - gone - burned off - in an hour! How amazing is that?
If you are a little bit self conscious about swimming, why not try walking instead? An hour's slow walking will burn up 150-200 calories, and if you work up to a moderate pace that figure climbs to between 200-300 calories.
One of the amazing things about regular exercise is that is quickly begins to improve your stamina. And no, we're not talking about your wedding night here! The bonus effect of stamina is to make the exercise you take feel progressively easier to do, yet still give you the same results. And with payoffs like improved muscle tone and more burned calories, combining light exercise with your wedding diet is a no-brainer that's sure to lead to a fabulous new you in time for your big day.
Best Regards....
