To Wear or not to wear!

My sister is getting married on Saturday and I am her maid of honor. The dress im wearing is a strapless lilac gown. My question is should I wear a necklace? I am going to wear a pair of simple emerald cut earrings, and Im not sure if the necklace will take away my neck and be too much.Please help!:)
