Tolle writes, “What the world doesn’t tell you—because it doesn’t know—is that you cannot become successful. You can only be successful. Don’t let a mad world tell you that success is anything other than a successful present moment” (p. 270).
What is your meaning of success?

wow, that's a deep quote and to tell you the truth, i don't really know what it means! i think being successful means doing something you love and are proud of. to me it has nothing to do with money but with how much of your blood, sweat, and tears you put into what you do.

Yeah nice quote & concept.
My guess is that Tolle is saying we are already successful, therefore we cannot DO anything to become successful.
But that where the hard part seems to be for me, any ideas on how to discover the success that is already in us all?

i think it means that to if you can realize who you are instead of what you think you are, then you can apply that towards living - in that sense, you are already successful, like one step ahead of the game.
