Need new ideas

I had my hair cut really short and am now letting it grow out. Its just right at my jaw line and is at that awkward length and I dont know what to do with it. I have very straight very thick hair and if anyone has any ideas holler them my way PLEASE!! :wink: [/b]

have you tried cutting bangs? my friend did that and it gave her a whole new look.
