We were challenged in the chapter 4 workbook to pay close attention to negative thoughts, feelings or actions and any background unhappiness, including resentment, discontent, nervousness or being "fed up." We were also told to become alert to our negativity and repeat silently: "At this moment, I am creating suffering for myself."

Did you have any times of negative thinking that you were aware of this week? If so, did you release those negative thoughts and how did you release them?

I have these moments of realization several times in an hour so times that by 16 hours (even sometimes I have these moments in my dreams :? ) that's a lot of times in a day!!!

I think a lot of this is from my upbringing, I need to be "re-programmed" thanks Oprah and Tolle, I am now aware that I need to be Still and positive in these moments.

I also realized that when I am negative, all I attract is negative (kinda like, when it rains it pours!). It's a magnetic energy.

I also noticed when I am positive, everything around me is also that way. Even though I notice these things, I still let my ego get in the way and I think it's because our society works toooo much and I try to keep up with it! I need to take time to breathe our FREE air and smell our FREE flowers!

In my yoga practice, I notice when my mind wonders outside of the mat, because pain in my body creeps in or I lose my balance. Then I just say to myself, I am here, I am here. And I come back into the moment and realign myself. It works every time.
I think negative thoughts all day long. Sometimes I change them with a positive affirmation, and sometimes I just bare witness to them and observe knowing that it is just my ego playing out.

i worked really hard yesterday to be aware of negative thoughts, and each time I was, I was able to do a 180 with my mind and start thinking positive. it helps keep me in a good mood instead of getting depressed or angry about situations or people.

I like the feeling I got when I read what your wrote above. I love happy people, I am sooooo attracted to happy people, they are a magnet for me. When I see happy people, I feel they are emitting their true "love" self and I love that!!! :D

It is so easy to change things when you are aware of it.
