I really enjoyed this quote from Ch. 1:
"You do not become good by trying to be good, but by finding the goodness that is already within you, and allowing that goodness to emerge."

so true! our ego gets in the way of our goodness. I believe that God made us all perfect and good, but we get in our own way of allowing that to shine through. it's ego, anger, jealousy, spitefullness, temptation, and so much more that causes us to stray from our good and perfect original self.

I find my goodness by being good to others. Making someone smile through being your genuine self is the best feeling of all.

I think that is such a relief. I'll be working all day at becoming, when I should just realize that I already am.
