i love marriage so much i can't imagine anyone not wanting it! just knowing that i have a partner for life and that we are bound together as one legally and figuratively is an incredible feeling!

i think it all depends on your perspective. marriage can be terrible or wonderful, it's really all about communication (that's what i hear!) i wouldn't mind being married but i didn't always feel that way!

Marriage is an important step for a man and a woman who feel real love. Of course, nowadays, it seems not easy at all (because of money, job and many other things) but this doesn't mean that it's not necessary..
Maybe when you'll find the right man you will change your opinion :roll:

hi - yes marriage has its ups & downs like anything else in life. marriage is something that has no guarantees it's a gamble just like life. you do your best to grow as an individual & watch how your marriage blossoms. wither away & deterioate & watch your marriage deterriorate as well.

I never wanted to get married and I still don't...perhaps I haven't found the right guy? Even so, I think that nowadays, there are many people who live alternative lifestyles and have no problem with staying unmarried but can still start a family of their own...Maybe my perspective will change one day, but I agree that marriage is unnecessary.
