it seems like wedding singers are totally out! has anyone seen a wedding singer at a wedding recently? the last time i did was like 10 years ago... even DJs aren't as popular since ipods came out. a lot of people are playing their own DJ by just putting their ipod on shuffle. What would be your ideal? I would love to have a big band (40s style) at mine. :)

i went to a wedding where they had ethnic music like indian and it was SO much fun - way better than the hip hop stuff that gets played at most weddings i've been to!

most of the weddings i've been to have had a live cover band...it's so much fun! they sing anything from "the twist" to the "cha cha cha" ahahahah, don't ask...and the dj plays everything else!
