For the past few weeks DivaVillage.com has featured a Yoga Pose of the Week, and now it’s time to take all of these poses that you have learned so far and combine them into what’s called a vinyasa. You will frequently hear this word in your yoga classes because a vinyasa is a flow of fluid movements that combines your asana’s, or poses, with your breath. There are hundreds of different vinyasas, all with their own unique variations depending on style and creativity. So, Divas, let’s take what we know and flow! Diva Vinyasa BenefitsIncrease blood circulation Increase the heart rate in short spurts to promote cardiovascular health Tone and strengthen shoulders, arms, wrists, abs, back, buttocks, and legs.
Diva Vinyasa How To: 
| 1. Start in Downward Facing Dog. | 
| 2. Move into Plank pose. | 
| 3. Lower down to Four Limb Stick. | 
Cobra Pose 
Upward Facing Dog Pose | 4. Release all the way down, lay the tops of the feet flat on the mat and push up into Cobra or Upward Facing Dog. | 
| 5. Push back into Child’s Pose by resting your tailbone on the back of your heels, your forehead on your mat and your hands back by your sides with your palms up. Stay here for three deep breaths before repeating the vinyasa. |
