Every bride deserves to feel special before and after her wedding. Smarty Pants started as a way to make that happen with personalized sweatsuits, toiletry bags, and vintage jewelry. Then they added items for kids, babies, men, and everyday women!
Smarty Pants was started by Jennifer Titton, who received inspiration from her own wedding planning. A month before her wedding, Jennifer made herself an embroidered sweatsuit that stated “Soon to Be Mrs. Ross Titton.” Everywhere she went in her sweatsuit, strangers commented on how adorable it wasand stopped to ask her where she got it. Before too long, Jennifer was making suits for other brides and their bridesmaids, and suddenly, Smarty Pants was born. The line then expanded to golf shirts for the husbands-to-be, and Smarty Pants for children.
Then in 2004, Smarty Pants was asked to make items for The NBC TODAY SHOW series “TODAY Throws a Destination Wedding.”
“It’s been three years since I made that first suit and I have to say that I love this business more than ever. I still get excited for every item that comes out of production. Nothing makes me happier than hearing from my customers and receiving their photos!”
