Best Female Video: Kelly Clarkson for “Because Of You” (Clarkson wasn’t there to accept her award) Best R&B Video: Beyonce for her hit “Check on it” Best Pop Video: Pink for “Stupid Girls” Best New Artist: Avenged Sevenfold who beat out newcomer Rihanna (she also regrettably lost the Viewers Choice Award to “Fall Out Boy”) Best Dance Video: Pussycat Dolls for "Buttons" Best Hip Hop Video: Black Eyed Peas for "My Humps" Fashion Highlights
