BRINGING BACK 50's FASHIONThe Top Five Things to Wear From The 50's EraWe all know that the past usually rears its fashionable (and sometimes not so fashionable) head to the current style, and this season it is all about the 50’s! With the Mad Men craze it’s a no wonder we are craving the styles of tip top ponytails and poofy knee length skirts. Now it is your turn to bring on the sophisticated style, by adding these five 50-inspired fashionable items. 50's Fall Fashion: Fur Mink Pink Faux Fur Cropped Jacket Whether you are all about the fur or are pro PETA, you can enjoy these super cute styles. Add a fur (or faux fur) scarf to your peacoat as you head out to get some coffee with friends or simply wear this with a simple sweater and jeans. You can also wrap yourself up in a long faux fur coat with some jeans or when you want to add a little warmth to your LBD, add a cropped fur jacket on your shoulders. 50's Fall Fashion: Kitten Heel olsenHAUS Grace 2 Peep Toe Pump The best part of these adorable small heels is that you can wear them just about anywhere! While we will never really get rid of our beloved 4 inch pumps, the kitten heels will help ease some pain while still keeping us looking fantastic. When you have to stand on your feet all day for work, wear these heels with some opaque tights and a pencil skirt to keep your style updated and still classy. Want to add a little bit of ultra chic style to your skinny jeans? Kick it up just a bit with some hot leopard print kitten heels! 50's Fall Fashion: Long Skirt Now I know what you are thinking. A long skirt? “How Little House of the Prairie is that?” Well, when it’s done right, you can rock this look while keeping it feminine and shall we say, sexy? When you wear a skirt that comes right above your ankles, you have to make sure that your torso balances out evenly with the longer skirt. Wear a fitted blouse, tucked into the skirt to give an hour glass shape. If you want to wear a blazer over it, make sure it is fitted and is also cropped.Do not try to put a boyfriend blazer over such an empowering skirt. 50's Fall Fashion: Headbands There are so many fabulous little headbands out there right now; it may be hard not to buy them all! If you are a little leery about how to start this trend, simply grab a headband with a small satin bow on the side. This way you will have the look of the season while not overdoing it. Try this headband with your hair down with loose waves to make it look a little messy or wear it with your hair tied up. 50's Fall Fashion: Hats You can either opt for a fedora hat to keep your look a little trendy or wear a bucket hat so it remains feminine. Either way, these types of hats will make any outfit. Wear a black fedora with a boyfriend blazer, skinny jeans and tall over the knee boots. A bucket hat looks great with a skirt and a fitted ruffle blazer.
