Add Color To Your Hair Without Dyeing It

Sometimes you want to add a little color to your hair, but that doesn’t mean you have to go and dye it! Add a little color to your hair with the accessories that you put in it! Who says that you have to keep your accessories neutral and blah? Instead pop a little color with a barrette here and there or a vibrant headband to kick up your style.

Fun Bun

On a hot summer’s day, sometimes tiring your hair up in a knot is the ideal style so you can look chic but also keep your hair off your face and your neck. While you could use a bobby pin that matched your hair color to keep your look very posh, you could also take your look to a whole new level with color. Smooth your hair back into a bun and pull it together with a few colored bobby pins right along the top of the bun to add some flavor. Instead of bobby pins, you can also use a long barrette that is bright and colorful to hold the entire bun together. This is a great look for when you want to wear a classy black dress for a fabulous night out.

Bright Braid

The messy side braid is clearly the hair style of choice for so many of our long haired gals, but adding just a touch of color might make this look even better. Once you make the braid, add a colorful hair tie around the end for an instant sweep of color for when you are heading to the beach. For something a little fancier, all you need is a colorful ribbon to tie around the end of the braid to give your look a very sassy style or stick with a brightly colored flower pin that will keep you feeling very feminine.

Hot Headbands

There really is no easier way to add a dab of color to your hair than by simply slipping on a headband. Wear a bright pink headband that has a satin bow to really spice up your white shorts and grey blouse. You don’t have to worry about looking like a child when you wear a colorful headband, as long as you stick with something classy, like satin. Stay away from some of the plastics that appear too childish.
