FIND YOUR PASSION
Find Your Passion and Do What You Truly Love
 | What makes your heart sing? Everyone has probably thought about this, but not everyone knows their true passion. Knowing what kind of ice cream you like? Easy. Knowing what you love to do and want to spend the rest of your life pursuing? Difficult. And terrifying. So terrifying in fact, that many women would rather stay in dead-end jobs and spend days doing things they don’t like rather than face the truth about their true passion. | |
The most difficult part about discovering your true passion and calling in this life is that once you realize it, you have to go for it. Ignorance is bliss and once you discover that your calling is to care for dogs or arrange flowers or run a magazine- well then, you have to do it, and that is where the hard work comes in.
WHAT'S YOUR PASSION?
Where is your heart leading you? Do you want to find out your true heart's desires? Take some time to sit and relax, ponder these following questions and write down what comes to mind. Forget grammar, don’t worry about complete sentences- the idea is to get the thoughts out of your brain and onto paper so you can refer to them later and look for emerging patterns.
The most important thing is to allow yourself to brainstorm and not to edit your thoughts before they get to the paper. No one will read this but you, and you are not answering for the approval of your boss, spouse, boyfriend, friends, parents, or kids. This is just for you.
Answer these questions honestly and truthfully. Slowly think about the question and immediately jot down what comes to mind first. Let’s begin:
1. What do you lose track of time doing? What are you doing when you look up at the clock and think, where did the time go?

14. What can you best give the world?
Take some time with these questions; be patient with yourself and realize that no one can discover your passion for you. Only you know, deep down, what makes your heart sing and your days happy. Only you can create the future you desire, so what are you waiting for?
The important thing is to let go of what you think you are supposed to do, and make room in your mind for what you want to do. When you follow your heart and go after your passion, everything else will fall into place.
“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”- Eleanor Roosevelt
