Learn How to Get Taylor Swift’s Ringlets with this Celebrity Hair How To!

She is country music’s golden girl and her young fresh style has her deep on the fashion and beauty radar.  Who wouldn’t want to look like Taylor Swift for a day (or a lifetime?) You may not be able to get her fabulous career, but those glowing curls can certainly be yours with the right products, tools, and techniques.

TAYLOR SWIFT HAIR: Step 1

To get Taylor Swift’s hairstyle, start with a cleansing and treatment routine using a product line made specifically for shine, volume, and curl.  Try using Bed Head by TIGI Foxy Curls Frizz-Fighting Shampoo and Moisturelicious Conditioner to clean and moisturize the hair. Rinse thoroughly and towel dry.

TAYLOR SWIFT HAIR: Step 2

Apply a lightweight mousse, like TIGI Bed Head Foxy Curls Extreme Curl Mousse, to encourage those Taylor Swift bouncy ringlets. Then, using a large boar bristle round brush, such as Conair Protech Boar Bristle Round Brush, blow dry the hair in individual sections to smooth and de-frizz. This will also give the hair some volume and prepare it for curling. Use an ionic 1875 watt dryer, like Bed Head Active Ionic Hair Dryer, for the sleekest blowout.

Using a smaller barrel iron will create tighter, more spiral shaped curls like Taylor Swift’s. Set your iron according to your hair texture, low heat for fine hair, high for thick course hair, and medium heat for most other hair types. Starting at the back and working your way forward, direct your iron backwards, shaping the curls away from the face, especially in the bangs or front area. Spray each piece of hair with a firm hold hair spray, like Aquage Finishing Spray, before curling to give hold and sheen.
