Learn how to Get Paz Vega's Old Hollywood Hairstyle
Just like the actress wearing it, this hairstyle look too will never go out of style. In fact, because of numerous celebrities like the mega gorgeous Paz Vega, this timeless Old Hollywood hairstyle will forever be in fashion. Here’s how to get this Old Hollywood hairstyle it for yourself.
PAZ VEGA OLD HOLLYWOOD HAIR Step 1:
Start out by cleansing and conditioning the hair with an anti-frizz or smoothing shampoo and conditioner, like Paul Mitchell’s Super Skinny Daily Shampoo and Treatment. Rinse thoroughly and towel dry hair.
Next, apply a dime sized amount of a lightweight smoothing and shine serum, like Paul Mitchell’s Super Skinny Serum to your damp hair. This will prevent frizzing while enhancing shine and reducing drying time.
After hair is completely dry, create a side part in your hair (whatever side your heart desires.) Begin to straighten hair in sections, starting at the back and working your way to the front, using a wide flatiron, such as Hot Tools 2" Ceramic Titanium Flat Iron. Run the iron slowly and steadily through sections from root to end.
Once the entire head is completely straight and smooth, start curling the hair in small sections using a 1 ½ inch barrel curling iron, like BabyLiss 1 ½ inch Pro Ceramic Spring Iron. Curl only the lower ¾ portion of your head, keeping the hair on top (or crown) straight and combed smooth and sleek to the scalp. Starting at the back and working your way forward, direct your iron forwards, shaping the curls toward the face, especially in the bangs or front area. Hold hair on iron for only about 10-15 seconds, letting hair fall naturally off the iron. This will help keep the curls loose and more wavelike; you do not want spiral curls for this look. Spray each piece of hair with a firm hold hair spray, like Aquage Finishing Spray, before curling to give hold and sheen.
After your entire head is in lustrous waves, pull the curls out a bit with fingers to loosen them. Then again with fingers, smooth and shape the curls, lengthening them into looser waves and positioning them toward your face. Once every curl is in its rightful place, spray the entire head with hairspray to set your old Hollywood style.
