WHAT ARE HEALING CRYSTALS?
The idea is that particular crystals and gemstones carry a high positive vibration that with (or even without) your positive intention can move good energy into the body and in many cases move negative energy out. Clear quartz is the most widely recognized and commonly used as its metaphysical benefits are known to help provide a positive outcome to any particular situation, clear negative energy while at the same time activating the positive energy within you. However, different types of quarts, jade, rubies, and many others found throughout the world all hold their own specific purpose for crystal healing.
HOW IS CRYSTAL HEALING USED?
Specifically referring to the body, mind, spirit energies, crystal healing is often used with reference to the particular chakras in the body. No need to worry, you don’t have to be a chakra expert or a gemologist to understand the basics of crystal healing with respect to colors. But for the sake of initial understanding--what are chakras? Universally known as the energy centers of your body, there are seven chakras starting at the base of your spine and leading up to the crown of your head. Each chakra has its own individual color, vibration, and function associated with them for proper balance of energy in your body. Now let’s take a look at how they ‘stack up’ and what crystal correlates with which chakra:

HOW TO PRACTICE CRYSTAL HEALING
The practice of crystal healing can be done in a few different ways. Many people believe they benefit from the properties in the crystals just by wearing them around their neck or carrying them around in their pocket while others find it more important to find the benefits of crystal healing through a Reiki practitioner, massage therapist or spiritual counselor who performs crystal healing. This is a personal preference and something to be decided once you have really done your homework on crystal healing itself and feel comfortable enough to use them.
