HOW TO COOK BROWN RICE

It’s very easy to cook some steamed brown rice for your next meal or side; here are some tips for cooking up a tasty batch of rice:
Wash and rinse 2 cups of brown rice thoroughly under cool water until the water drains clear.  Put rice in a saucepan, and add four cups of cold water to the mixture.  Sprinkle with a pinch of salt, then bring the mixture to a boil.  When the rice reaches a rolling boil, lower the heat to a simmer and cover to steam.  Leave to cook for 20-30 minutes until all the water has evaporated.  Mix the rice to make sure all the water has evaporated, and then leave in saucepan for 5-10 minutes to settle before serving.  Enjoy!
