All Natural Mascaras are Good for your Eyes and the Environment
Like so many divas, I love the look of long, full, healthy lashes and mascara is one of my ‘go-to’ beauty products. I wear contact lenses too, so I definitely need a formula that won’t flake off and get into my eyes.
While many types of mascara offer various benefits, including lengthening and thickening to name a few, they may also contain chemicals that can cause eye irritation. Each time we remove our eye makeup, rub our eyes or shed a tear, chances are we are getting at least a tiny bit of our makeup in our eyes.
ALL NATURAL MASCARAS
Usually this is an issue for those with sensitive eyes, contact wearers or for folks who are looking for more natural and environmentally friendly cosmetics and natural mascaras might be just the answer you are looking for. Most of these formulas are paraben free and contain very little in the way of chemical additives that could cause your eyes to be unhappy! Let’s check them out:
Enriched with vitamins E and aloe, this non-drying and conditioning formula has mineral-based coloring and is free from polymers, talc and lacquer. Available in black, brown or blue shades, this formula contains herbal extracts and is wonderful for contact lens wearers.
Volumizing, flake proof, smudge proof and clump free, this product is also alcohol free, paraben free, synthetic dye free, perfume free, mercury free, mineral oil free, tar free, petrochemical free, gluten free. Available in black or brown, Pure Soul mascara is a true gem.
I have sung the praises of Lavera before and this mascara is no exception. It’s great for sensitive eyes and is 100% free from synthetic preservatives, perfumes, colorants and mineral oil products. Uses 100% pure vegetable oils, active plant agents and essences to provide excellent results.
So cool..yet such a performer! Shall we begin with the cool metalized tube composed of post-consumer recycled aluminum? This mascara is the stuff that eco dreams are made of!! While lash volume, length, and curl are pumped up, this eco-friendly mascara is decreasing environmental harm.
Paul Penders natural mascaras have natural waxes and plant oils instead of questionable tar, including Carnauba Wax and Linseed and Wheatgerm Oils. Contains vitamin B to strengthen and thicken the eyelashes, while totally safe for contact lens wearers.
Our eyes are so vital to our heath and well-being and the makeup we use on them is something we have to take very seriously. Natural mascaras are available in a variety of formulas and price ranges and you can certainly test out a few to see if you like them. Doing good for your eyes and for the planet is certainly one positive kind of double whammy!
