You can play up your lips to have an Angelina-esque enviable pout no matter what your pucker size or shape is naturally. With a few makeup tricks, you can use lip stick, gloss and/or a lip lining pencil to play up your lips if they are full, thin or uneven.
Thin lips are a common pout problem. And since we always want what we don’t have, fake it with makeup. Match a lip pencil to your own lip shade and use the pencil to trace just outside your natural lip line. Don’t go overboard trying to create a lip line where there is none though, you are trying to fake a lip line, not look like you are faking a lip line. Then fill in your lips with the same lip liner. Add a soft lipstick over the top in your favorite shade. For extra oomph, use a bit of ultra shiny lip gloss in the center of both your top and bottom lips.
If you are like some, you might have uneven lips. Perhaps one side of your top lip is fuller than the other, or your top lip is much thinner than your bottom. No matter what your lip woe may be, it is easily fixed to create a faux perfect pout. If you want to make your larger lip side smaller, use concealer to line that side of your lip just within the lip line. Or if you wish to increase the volume on the smaller side, then use the thin lip trick and line that side of your lip with a lip pencil in the same shade as your lips, lining just outside the lip line. Lastly, to finish the fix apply a colored lip stick or gloss. Avoid clear glosses with uneven lips because they will just emphasize the different sized sides.
For already enviously full lips, flaunt them with a pretty lip stain that will last all day. Be sure to go easy on the gloss though since your lips are already full enough. Play up your pretty pucker with color and downplay your eye makeup for a beautiful look.
