Wrap Yourself up in Style this Fall!

This fall season calls for comfy, cozy coats! Celebrities like Jordin Sparks are sticking with old favorites like pea coats, while edgier celebs like Mary Kate Olsen are opting for fall’s newest trend, the cape.  For tips on how to wear this year’s top coat trends, read our fall coat analysis:

• Once again this year, capes are making a comeback. This time around, designers are adding belts for shape definition, but you still get all the benefits of being warmly wrapped up. To balance out a cape, try sporting some straight leg or skinny jeans tucked into a pair of brown sliver-wedge boots.

• Babydoll waistlines are adding an updated, feminine look to an old classic – the pea coat. Look for a two-button babydoll pea coat with pleats and an empire waist; plaid print or neutral colors like black or white are hot this fall. Pair it with some wide leg jeans or trousers for a sophisticated look.

• Fall’s swing coats are bringing a popular ‘60s look into modern times. Because of the shapelessness of this coat, add curves to your bottom half with fitted pants or jeans. Leather boots are a great companion for the swing coat.
