See our Picks for Best Dressed at the 42nd Annual CMAs! | The 42nd Annual CMA Awards aired Wednesday, Nov. 12 on ABC live from the Sommet Center in Nashville, Tenn. Although the red carpet was full of glamorous gowns, backstage changes at the CMAs produced several memorable outfits as well. Carrie Underwood, who co-hosted the show with country superstar Brad Paisley and won Female Vocalist of the Year, wore several different dresses throughout the evening. Songstress Taylor Swift, who performed during the show also wore at least five different gowns. But the real action is always on the red carpet!
