Treasure Necklaces: They’re Layered, Twisted, Haphazard, and Seriously Stylish!
The statement necklace isn’t departing the fashion world anytime soon and the latest incarnation is fun, fresh, and proving it’s worth on many of our favorite celebrities. We first took note of these statement necklaces when Sandra Bullock, making the rounds for the promotion of her film The Proposal, flashed a neck adorned in a “treasure chest” of necklaces. The idea is multi-layered, mixed and twisted, haphazard, and inspired by a pirate’s loot. We love it!
To wear this necklace trend, pair your treasure chest necklace with a LBD (Little Black Dress) for evening like Sandra, or another little dress in a single solid color. For a day look, wear your necklace with a simple tee or top and pair it with distressed ripped denim. A printed top or dress may take away from the treasure necklace and make the look too busy, but go ahead and experiment this trend with whatever you want, because fashion has no limits!
