Our favorite fashionable stars have found their new favorite red carpet trend. Instead of choosing the same old cocktail dress, they have been turning to stylish evening shorts to dazzle us with their fashion know-how. So as any good fashionista would do, we are taking notes and adding these fabulous new staples to our wardrobes. It’s true that a good pair of perfectly silky draped dress shorts is going to cost a fair bit of money, but keep in mind that these shorts are not a fleeting trend and will be used many times over. Black, gray, taupe, and only a hint of shine assure that wear-ability will last through winter, when you can wear tights underneath your shorts for a hip and chic look, and then through spring and summer again next year. The focus is all about the legs so choose a pair of amazing heels. Our current favorite is a fabulous pair of caged sandals. A simple top with embellishment works best and looks great when peeking out from underneath a boyfriend style jacket (another must-have item). Keep your jewelry to a minimum and grab a clutch on your way out the door. There you have it, the perfect alternative for a fantastic night on the town!
