Celebrities seem to always be wearing some form of tight fitted pants, whether it’s leggings or skinny jeans, but can the rest of us get away with wearing these trends?

None of us are shaped the same way and some of us have more curves than others, so how are we suppose to fit in these tight styles if we don’t have the “ideal” body shape for them? The good news is you don’t have to be just one shape to wear this look. You can pull this style off, no matter what your shape is!

If you have heavier thighs, you don’t have to be discouraged from wearing form fitted pants. You can even lengthen your legs by wearing the appropriate skinny jeans for your figure. Wear a dark wash, either in indigo blue or black and make sure you get jeans that are not too tight so your legs have some room to breathe. Pair this look with a longer tunic and belt it at your mid section to really put more focus on your waist.

Leggings can be treated the same way as skinny jeans, however they normally come in just one length. If your problem areas are your thighs or rump, then wear a darker pair of leggings, with a longer top or short dress. If you are uncomfortable with your stomach, then stick with a drapey blouse. Ankles can always be covered with boots, but try sporting your leggings with high heels to elongate the legs and to flatter the ankles.

Anyone can wear the skinny pant trend, no matter her shape. There are just a few things to remember when wanting to pull this look off. The most slimming colors are always either dark blue or black, and should normally be balanced off with some volume on top, such as with drapey blouses or tunics.
