Your little black dress, fondly referred to in the fashion world as the “LBD,” is your go-to dress for any occasion. But like all things, it can get a little old after a few years. Stylish actress Kirsten Dunst could have re-invented her LBD with just a few of our fab accessory finds, and you can too! Rather than buying multiple LBD’s, here are some ideas on how to spice up your favorite black dress so you can wear it again and again, and have it look a little different every time:

LBD UPDATE #1: WEAR BOLD STATEMENT JEWELRY

Jewelry is the simplest way to update a look without changing the outfit too drastically. With the popularity of statement necklaces rising, a great option would be to grab one of these to instantly change the neckline of your LBD.

• Add a little color to your favorite little black dress with an ombre three-strand necklace from Banana Republic.
