Kate Bosworth in 21
Check out Kate’s New Film and Get Her Global Style!
Kate Bosworth officially got our attention when she burst onto the big screen as a rough riding, gorgeous, and talented surfer in Blue Crush. Of course, she really hit the top of the Hollywood scene when she started an on-again-off-again relationship with the infamous actor Orlando Bloom. Although Kate and Orlando officially broke up in 2005, it hasn’t stopped her star status; she has the acting chops to keep herself afloat on talent alone. We’re loving the girl power!
Following Blue Crush, Kate’s next big role was the dramatic indie film, Wonderland, in which she starred opposite Val Kilmer. A rough and raw film, Kate’s acting talents were challenged and she delivered a break-through performance. Kate once again hit the big screen in Win A Date With Tad Hamilton!, and then as the legendary Lois Lane in Superman Returns. It soon became apparent to everyone that here was a girl with looks, talent, and whole lot of career ahead of her.
Kate’s latest film, 21, is inspired by the true story of how a few bright young minds took Vegas for millions. Ben Campbell (Jim Sturgess) is a shy, brilliant M.I.T. student who, needing to pay school tuition, finds the answers in the cards. He is recruited to join a group of the school’s most gifted students that heads to Vegas every weekend armed with fake identities and the expertise to turn the odds at blackjack in their favor. With unorthodox math professor and stats genius Micky Rosa (Kevin Spacey) leading the way, they’ve cracked the code. By counting cards and employing an intricate system of signals, the team can beat the casinos big time.
Seduced by the money, the Vegas lifestyle, and by his smart and sexy teammate, Jill Taylor (Kate Bosworth), Ben begins to push the limits. Though counting cards isn’t illegal, the stakes are high, and the challenge becomes not only keeping the numbers straight, but staying one step ahead of the casino’s menacing enforcer, Cole Williams (Laurence Fishburne). Catch Kate in 21, which will be out in theatres nationwide March 28th!
Get Kate Bosworth’s Global Style
This spring, designers are going global with exotic patterns and styles in both clothing and accessories. Look for Balinese, Ikat, and tribal designs with African and Middle Eastern influences. Kate Bosworth shows us the perfect way to pull off the global trend. Invest in an exotic pattern dress in a cut that flatters your figure. On colder occasions, pair your dress with tights and booties or tall boots like Kate. For warmer weather, show off your legs and wear a pair of earthy sandals or a super trendy gladiator inspired shoe. Mix your patterns by adding a tribal printed scarf, and throw on a belt with a tribal feel.
