DivaVillage.com is committed to offering the hottest fashion news and trends, and now they are alerting their readers to what’s IN and what’s OUT for Fall 2006!
With fall just around the corner, many are wondering what styles they should put to rest from their closet and which items can be revived. A common trend rearing its head this fall is “thin, trim, and feminine.” No more oversized shirts and dresses (sorry Olsen twins), it’s time to show off your curves and be ultra feminine! For all your fashion needs, DivaVillage.com brings you the Do’s and Don’ts of Fall Fashion 2006:
Pants:
DO buy skinny jeans, they look fabulous with boots!
DO grab a pair of leggings, they’re comfortable and stylish.
DON’T wear full leg bootcuts.
DON’T wear oversized cargos.
Tops:
DO wear something feminine and detailed (try lace or chiffon).
DO wear a vest – sweater or woven, menswear and preppy are very IN!
DON’T wear off-the-shoulder or boxy tops.
DON’T wear too much pattern, simple is IN.
Skirts:
DO throw on a mini! These work great with patterned tights as the weather cools.
DO buy a pencil skirt, slim and trim is IN!
DON’T buy Bohemian, it’s all about looking classic for fall!
DON’T buy a full or poofy skirt
Shoes:
DO buy booties, the slouchier the better!
DO step into tall and suede boots!
DON’T wear cowboy boots; sorry but the craze has passed!
DON’T wear flat or mid-calf boots – it’s either super short or super long ladies!
