How to Look After It Once you have gone blonde, I will be honest, you need to look after it more so than other hair types. Ben says, “You don’t necessarily need products specifically for blonde hair, you need things that are all about shine, shine, shine.” The challenge for blondes is finding a hair care regime that’s purifying enough to make hair gleam, yet nourishing  enough to keep dyed hair soft. You should use a shampoo that is as light as possible, followed by conditioners that are as rich as possible. “When you have got time, leave the conditioner on for ages,” advises Ben. “Treat it like a hair mask and really let it sink in. This will make up for the other days when you have to wash your hair in five minutes flat.” TIP - When you go to the gym, try and use the steam room afterwards. Cover your hair in conditioner and let the heat create a salon-like hair treatment. |
Roots The worst part of blonde hair is when your roots start to show. I am afraid it’s back to the salon for a ‘smudge,’ where just your roots are dyed, and then a sprinkling of Bumble&Bumble hair powder.
