1950’s makeup depended often upon a peaches and cream complexion for a daytime look. This was achieved with a light foundation of liquid or pressed powder. Blush and eyeshadow were minimal, therefore completing a “natural” look. But for nighttime, the fun was in the liquid eyeliner which made for dramatic eyes. The eyebrows were often darkened and defined, and dark lipcolor was also applied - providing for a look much like Christina’s.
